How a pond / aquarium in managed will have a direct impact upon our Fishes lives and Health. It is therefore imperative to set up a regular monitoring regime to check for essential parameters which, if incorrect levels, could have a detrimental and even fatal effect on the fish.
Poor Quality Water = Poor Fish Health
Watch out for:
- Loss of appetite
- Sulking on the pond bottom
- Hanging motionless at the surface
- Clamped fins
- Gasping at the surface
All these changes in behaviour will usually indicate a deterioration in water quality.
